Valencia, 18 december 2024

The new Hotel Valencia Feria – Rooms & Flats, owned by Alter Hotels Group, will reopen its doors next summer with a new concept of accommodation (hotel – apartment) that focuses on maximum energy efficiency, innovation, design and technology looking for a differentiating experience for the customer. The establishment will have 140 rooms for short and long stays, as well as common areas. The works are expected to be completed before the start of the summer season, at which time management will pass into the hands of the operator Líbere Hospitality Group, one of the main national references in the management of alternative short and medium-stay accommodations.

Alter Hotels Group, a Valencian company with more than 40 years of experience in the hospitality sector in the city of Valencia, already manages three owned establishments, to which, in 2025, will be added the one located in front of the fairgrounds. The new building will have 140 one- and two-bedroom rooms of between 50 and 70 m2. They will have a full kitchen and a second bathroom in the two-bedroom rooms, a large living room and private terraces in each room. The first floor will house the common areas with coworking area, swimming pool, gymnasium, cafeteria-restaurant and parking. On the 18th floor there will be a rooftop of more than 500 m2 with what will undoubtedly be one of the best views of the city of Valencia and its orchard.

A new generation of accommodation, where a significant investment has been made through Next Generation funds and in collaboration with IVACE, to optimize the energy efficiency of both the building and its facilities with practical spaces in which technological innovation and design come together to offer differentiating experiences. A new concept with accommodation options that respond to the needs of today’s customer.

According to the company’s forecast, the new Hotel Valencia Feria – Rooms & Flats will open its doors next summer 2025, once the construction work has been completed. From then on, management will pass into the hands of the operator Líbere Hospitality Group.

The hotel not only has a strategic location for business travel, opposite the Valencia fairgrounds, but it is also a commitment to boost the Benimàmet neighborhood, one of the new expansion areas of the capital, highlighting the good connectivity of this area with the city center and with a view to the plans of the Valencia City Council, which foresees the construction of 4,600 homes and green spaces in the near future.

The project of the new Hotel Valencia Feria – Rooms & Flats has counted with the consultancy Hosflex Capital Management, led by Mats Lodder and David Soriano, in advising Alter Hotels Group. The project also leaves the site adjacent to the hotel with a buildable area of approximately 5,000m², owned by the same hotel group and still without a defined project, pending its possible development in the future.

The emblematic building thus restarts its hotel activity after several decades closed to the public. Built in the 80s in the Benimàmet neighborhood, it was originally conceived as an apartment block, a use that changed at the end of the 90s to become a hotel of the Fiesta Hoteles firm, moved by the dynamism of the activity of the Feria Valencia institution. Subsequently the property has had several owners, but without resuming its activity as a hotel accommodation.
